Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses Times New 12-point font; all book and journal titles are italicized.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

ARTICLES

Articles are welcomed in the interdisciplinary fields of evangelical missiology, including theology of mission, history of mission, cultural anthropology, world religions, and mission practice. 

All submissions must be between 4000-7000 words.

Articles must adhere to Chicago-Turabian Author-Date and contain a full bibliography of cited sources.

BOOK REVIEWS

Book Reviews should be about 600 words and include the following:

· Book title and publication information,

· A brief overview of the book,

· Strengths/Significance,

· Suggested target audience, and

· A brief critique, if necessary, and recommendation.

TIMELINE FOR ARTICLE AND BOOK REVIEW SUBMISSIONS

Spring Edition: Jan. 15

Fall Edition: July 15

Revisions due within two weeks of recieveing editorial comments.
